Over 13 years in the industry has been enlightening. During this time, we've made some good friends and learned to avoid others. We can say with confidence that we now have a number of trusted farmers across Europe who can provide the high level of fish husbandry & care - which we believe is essential in today’s Caviar production.
We've already secured delivery of our signature KC Caviar - ethical and sustainable Caviar for 2025, made on our sister farm in Germany.
To meet the requirements of EHA and CITES every tin of our Caviar has the following information: The type of food, ingredient list, Allergenic items in bold, the % of each ingredient, use by date, net quantity in grams plus our address, storage instructions and a nutritional declaration plus any preservatives if added.
In the case of Caviar from our farm in Germany we show the fish name/number that provided the eggs to make that tin of KC Caviar 100% Ethical & Sustainable Caviar. However, you will see from the listings this Caviar is slightly more expensive that traditional.
All of the above is periodically checked by the APHA and the local EHO from the local Gov. authorities.
To meet the continued demand for traditional Caviar. We have negotiated a deal with two well-respected EU traditional farmers which will be rebranded in the UK as Serendipity Caviar. This Caviar contains a preservative to increase shelf life.
We do not charge for delivery or collection. However, to ensure the Caviar arrives in perfect condition we double wrap in bubble envelopes and include ice packs to cover the journey. When selecting your product you will be prompted to tick the packing box and agree to the £5 cost implication.

Having specialised in Sturgeon since the 90's introducing the Dexter, the platinum. the Toffee and Harlequin sterlets, we have excellent relationships with breeders across Europe to supplement the sturgeon bred on our farm in the UK. We have access to some of the rarer sturgeon and sterlet, plus special hybrids growing to a maximum size of 65cm making them ideal for UK pond enthusiasts.
Keeping a sterlet is simple, they need plenty of well oxygenated water and require high protein sturgeon sinking food every day as they cannot digest plant based koi food. They will take food anytime during the day but their natural feeding regime is after dusk when you will see them exploring every inch of the pond.
Today we have good stock levels of these genuine baby Albino Sterlets. They are perfect for garden ponds, especially deeper ones, as they will always visible due to their stunning albino colouring, including the deciphering red eyes.

There will be new additions to the range arriving before Easter. The first one is exclusive to Kenkona, which we have named the Regal sterlet. This is a beautiful jet black and white, stellatus / sterlet hybrid, suitable for any pond over 3m dia circa 1000 gallons.
When selecting your sterlet you will be prompted to click the packing box before going to checkout. This is a £5 contribution towards packing, not a delivery charge.
The exclusive Regal sterlet will be available shortly from £100 each.
